Saxophonist Steve Coleman is a true genius who has become an inspiration for a whole generation of the Jazz world. He was one of the first to see the possibilities in rap and DJs, and out of that became a master for many musicians outside of the realms of Jazz as well.

The masterful Jazz singer, Kurt Elling, and the legendary Jazz fusion group, Yellowjackets, will pay tribute to the signature super-group, Weather Report. We will be able to enjoy a concert in which the original lyrics of Kurt Elling will be adapted to the timeless music of Weather Report.

Ribot’s music – he also is a composer and singer – is always linked to the world of experimentation and improvisation, departing from absolute freedom, with a special penchant towards raw rock, direct and loud.

Dee Dee Bridgewater is one of the great ladies of vocal Jazz. Born in Memphis in 1950, she soon joined, (as early as 1971), The Thad Jones/ Mel Lewis Big Band, a brilliant and ground-breaking orchestra with which she performed regularly until 1974, allowing her to acquire enough to take a big step in her career and start to work with the orchestras of the established figures of Jazz, such as Max Roach, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins and Dexter Gordon.

A legendary composer, producer and performer, who played and recorded with Eric Clapton, Chick Corea, Carlos Santana and Al Di Meola, and revolutionized the genre to the point of changing it forever. This show fuses the past, present and future of flamenco, with a handful of musicians who aim to celebrate the life and work of Paco de Lucía and show how his creative DNA blended styles such as jazz, classical music and African music.
